Heritage Classic

A characteristic feature of the Longines Heritage Classic is the “sector dial”—a dial that is distinguished by a concentric division and a fine railway minute track. This striking structure emphasizes the functional aesthetics and gives the timepiece a graphically precise look. Light colors such as silver and beige dominate, complemented by blued hands or simple black versions reminiscent of Bauhaus design. The watches are deliberately reduced to the essentials and offer a stylistically pure representation of the time.  

The models are powered by the automatic caliber L893 (based on ETA A31.501), which offers a power reserve of up to 72 hours and is equipped with a silicon balance spring. This increases resistance to magnetic fields and ensures consistent precision in everyday use. The movement is usually not visible, as the case backs are screwed down and feature historical engravings—a deliberate reference to the mid-20th century model.  

The cases are often 38.5 mm wide, making the Longines Heritage Classic series suitable for both women and men. It is aimed at enthusiasts of historical watch aesthetics who do not want to compromise on state-of-the-art technology.
