In 2016, the Laureato made a comeback in the watch world—as a limited edition to mark the 225th anniversary of Girard-Perregaux. A key distinguishing feature of the Girard-Perregaux Laureato is its octagonal bezel, which is harmoniously integrated into the round case. This detail creates a clear, simultaneously sporty, and elegant impression. The seamlessly connected bracelet of the Laureato, which is made of stainless steel, titanium, ceramic, gold or rubber, ensures a high level of wearing comfort and visual unity. The dial features subtle accents, such as the frequently used Clous de Paris patterns, which give the watch depth.

In addition to its striking appearance, the Laureato impresses with its innovative movements. Many models are equipped with Girard-Perregaux's in-house automatic movements, which are renowned for their reliability and attention to detail.
