The simple yet sensual shape of the TYPE 1 Round case aims to create an emotional relationship between the watch and its wearer. Every touch of the curved case is intended to evoke the feeling of a smoothly polished pebble. This is in stark contrast to the Ressence TYPE 1 Squared, which is embedded in an extended, angular case and thus creates an exciting variation to the voluminous, rounded watch glass. Nevertheless, symmetry and uncompromising clarity underline the design. This is particularly evident in the simple beauty of the strap lugs, which are common to both versions. Just like a simple leather strap in muted tones and with discreet stitching. 

Like all of the brand's models, these also work without a common crown and are instead wound using a fold-out hook on the case back. The patented Ressence Orbital Convex System (ROCS) of the TYPE 1 is driven by the minute axis of a specially modified caliber 2824/2 automatic movement. This advanced complication consists of 107 individual components and enables the display of seconds, minutes, hours and days of the week on a constantly moving, three-dimensional dial. 

The collection is available in classic color variants such as black, silver or blue and is often worn in a monochrome design with a leather strap of the same color. Nevertheless, the more striking versions with red, green and yellow displays are also a popular choice because they embody the unconventional character of the brand in a particularly impressive way.
