About the Grenade Collection

The skeletonized aluminum construction, combined with palladium-coated brass and stainless steel components, gives the Grenade by L'Epée 1839 an industrial and high-quality appearance.

The L'Epée Grenade displays the time via two rotating aluminium discs that show the hours and minutes. These are located above the centrally positioned balance wheel, which operates at 18,000 vibrations per hour and ensures the mechanical precision of the clock. The safety pin serves as a key for winding and setting the time: when pulled, the time can be adjusted manually; winding is done by a mechanism at the base.

With a power reserve of eight days and its open structure, the L'Epée 1839 Grenade is not only a functional timepiece, but also a unique work of art about the transience of time.
