The Longines Heritage Military pays homage to the robust, functional watches that were produced for military use in the early 20th century. About the Heritage Military Collection

The design of the Heritage Military watches is deliberately understated and functional. Characteristic features include matt, understated dials with Arabic numerals and strikingly shaped cathedral hands with luminescent coating. The colors are based on military models, including beige, khaki, black, and muted silver. Some models deliberately do without a second hand in order to remain true to the authenticity of early field watches. A particularly striking detail is the artificially aged patina, which gives some dials a vintage look without compromising on modern standards.

Inside the Longines Heritage Military is the automatic L888 movement with a power reserve of around 72 hours. This caliber is based on the proven ETA A31.L11 and has been specially revised for Longines. It offers a high degree of reliability combined with a slim design—ideal for flat case profiles, as is common in military watches.

The case diameter of around 38.5 mm matches the flat case profile, whose exterior is made of brushed stainless steel. Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and water resistance up to 3 bar make the watches reliable for everyday use.
