About the Gotham City Collection

The Gotham City pays homage to the duality of Bruce Wayne and his alter ego Batman. The series is available in two limited editions: 36 pieces in black DLC-coated titanium—inspired by Batman—and 36 pieces in 18-karat rose gold, representative of Bruce Wayne. 

The rose gold version reflects the opulent lifestyle of Bruce Wayne. Inside, the hand-wound JCFM10 caliber is equipped with two flying, three-axis tourbillons, whose skeletonized cages are reminiscent of Batman's iconic equipment. The dial is made of polished black onyx, featuring the contours of the bat symbol. It is framed by yellow neoralite with Super-LumiNova®, which glows in the dark, alluding to Batman's nocturnal activities. 

The design of the rose gold case is also a subtle reference to the comic book character: with its faceted, matt lugs, it is reminiscent of the angular aesthetics of the Batsuit. The crown, featuring a rubberized Batman logo, and the rose gold hands, indices, and tourbillon cages are coordinated with the case and provide an elegant contrast to the midnight black dial. The Jacob & Co. Gotham City is rounded off by a display at 6 o'clock that shows the remaining time of the 48-hour power reserve, as well as the strap in Batman's colors of black and yellow.
