About the Casquette 2.0 Collection

The Casquette 2.0 remains true to this design but modernizes the technology and materials to bring it into the present day and revive the spirit of the original. It combines retro charm with contemporary functionality and stands out as an exceptional timepiece in the Girard-Perregaux collection.

The design of the Casquette 2.0 is strongly inspired by the aesthetics of the 1970s but has a contemporary feel thanks to the use of exquisite materials and finishes. The rectangular case with bevelled edges is dominated by a digital LED display that shows the time in red numerals—a striking detail that emphasizes the character of the 1970s. The Casquette 2.0 is made of high-tech ceramic and titanium, which makes for a light but robust case.

The new quartz movement has been specially developed to display a second time zone and a secret date in addition to the classic display of hours, minutes, seconds and date. The watch also offers a stopwatch function. The energy-saving mode ensures a long battery life and the digital LED display is easy to read in different lighting conditions.
