The Bell & Ross BR03 series, also known as the Bell & Ross Aviation, retains the characteristic square design of the BR01, which was designed for professional use in aviation and special forces. The BR03 varies in appearance—from a military style with a green dial and green natural rubber strap to a vintage-inspired design with elements such as a copper-look front and a brown calfskin strap.

The Bell & Ross logo is placed centrally at the top of the dial in modern lettering. It blends harmoniously into the elegant but unobtrusive overall design. The clear hands on the dial also stand out due to their length and distinctive curved tips.

The Aviation BR03 comes in a square stainless steel case with rounded edges, which gives the visual design a powerful touch. The corners are reinforced by four visible screws, which accentuate the functionality with a touch of industrial aesthetics. Shock protection is provided by an Incabloc system—a protective mechanism in which the bearing is mounted in a spring-loaded cage. The elastic mounting ensures a flexible fit, even when subjected to shock.
