BUCHERER FINE JEWELLERY
A Dream Wedding Weekend With Tamara Kalinic
For her wedding at Lake Como in Italy, fashion influencer Tamara Kalinic chose a selection of Bucherer Fine Jewellery looks to accompany every chapter of her weekend-long celebration. "For me, jewellery is memory made physical," she says, reflecting on growing up watching her mother treasure pieces that marked life’s milestones. From the welcome cocktail to the ceremony and the festivities that followed, each jewellery set became part of the story of her unforgettable wedding weekend.
3 Minutes

Tamara and Filippo crossed paths several times through the fashion world before properly meeting at an intimate gathering during Paris Fashion week. Soon after, they met again at a fashion show, where Filippo made a playful promise: if he could guess her perfume, she would marry him. He guessed correctly, and the pair went on their first real date the next day. After years of building a life together across different countries and an engagement on the romantic Amalfi Coast, they celebrated their wedding at the storied Villa Pizzo on Lake Como on July 5.

Look One: Welcome Cocktails at the Mandarin Oriental
As the sun dipped behind the mountains surrounding Lake Como, Tamara and Filippo made a memorable arrival by boat to welcome friends and friends at the Mandarin Oriental. For the first evening, Tamara wore a custom hand-crocheted dress that took over 200 hours of artisanal work to complete, paired with exquisitely crafted pieces from Bucherer Fine Jewellery’s Baguette Love Collection, which capture the distinctive beauty and modern romance of baguette-cut diamonds.
To complement the contemporary strapless silhouette of her dress, she chose the dazzling Baguette Love necklace in 18K white gold, featuring 65 baguette-cut diamond totalling 1.5 ct and accented with 406 brilliant-cut diamonds. Matching ear pins, a bangle and a ring completed the glamorous look with subtle touches of radiance. As Tamara stepped ashore to embrace loved ones, the collection's geometric diamond facets caught the last golden light of the evening.

Look Two: Wedding Ceremony at Villa Pizzo
The following day, Tamara and Filippo exchanged vows on Villa Pizzo’s lakeside terrace overlooking spectacular views of Lake Como and surrounded by abundant white floral arrangements. At the heart of the ceremony were their bespoke wedding bands created in collaboration with Bucherer Fine Jewellery. Tamara's 18K white gold band is set with 57 individually selected brilliant-cut diamonds and meticulously designed to fit snugly with her engagement ring. It also includes an engraving of Filippo's signature on the inside. Meanwhile, Filippo’s minimalist 18K yellow gold band carries Tamara's signature engraved in her native Serbian Cyrillic – two personal inscriptions that forever commemorate the promises made that day.
For the “I do’s,” Tamara wore a custom couture gown that showcased an elegant sculptural silhouette with a flowing floor-length hemline. Alongside her engagement and wedding rings, Tamara opted for dangling ear pins from the Bucherer Fine Jewellery Classics collection, set with trapezoid-, baguette- and square-cut diamonds that shimmered and swayed with every movement, adding understated brilliance to the ceremony’s most intimate moments.
On her wrist, she wore the Stretchy Rivière bracelet in 18K white gold with 45 multi-shaped diamonds. Built around an invisible elastic system rather than a clasp, the Stretchy collection is designed to adapt seamlessly to the wearer, offering comfort without sacrificing refinement. A practical grace note for a bride who, after all, spent the day laughing, taking photos, and dancing.

Look Three: Wedding Reception and Fireworks
At dusk, guests gathered for dinner, heartfelt speeches, live music, and dancing beneath crystal chandeliers. Tables were adorned with elaborate fruit sculptures, vintage tableware, and countless candles. For the reception, Tamara changed into a cream strapless corset gown and paired it with a set of Bucherer Fine Jewellery pieces featuring vanilla-yellow gemstones that echoed the warm glow of the evening.
The Pastel Path necklace in 18K yellow gold, centered around a luminous octagonal-cut pastel yellow sapphire, became the focal point of the look. She completed the ensemble with Joy collection ear pins, each featuring fancy yellow cushion-cut diamonds totalling 2.05 ct, framed by 28 brilliant-cut diamonds for extra sparkle. After dark, the couple cut their tiered wedding before fireworks illuminated the sky, and celebrations continued well into the early hours.

Look Four: The Farewell Brunch at Villa d’Este
For the final day, Tamara turned to a romantic embroidered minidress featuring a statement ribbon detail for the post-wedding brunch at Villa d’Este. She accessorised it with a necklace from the Skyline collection, which was inspired by the brilliance and architecture of New York City. Crafted in 18K gold and set with 49 hand-selected diamonds totalling 32.27 carats, the necklace's clean geometric lines beautifully balanced the feminine flare of her dress. The look was finished with Heaven solitaire ear pins with mesmerising brilliant-cut diamonds, alongside the effortless elegance of the Stretchy Rivière bracelet once again.
Across three days and four distinct moments – the anticipation of arrival, the emotion of the ceremony, the joy of the celebration, the relaxed mood of the farewell – Tamara's jewellery looks evolved alongside the wedding itself, becoming part of the memories she and Filippo will carry with them long after the celebrations came to an end.
