The manufacture has developed a unique style with its ultra-thin watches and exquisite jewelry collections. The slim design and high-end craftsmanship make Piaget watches the ideal accessory for the elegant man and the stylish woman. 

The brand was founded in 1874 by Georges-Édouard Piaget in the Swiss village of La Côte-aux-Fées, which is still home to one of its two production facilities today. Driven by the motto “always do better than necessary,” Piaget set high standards in haute horlogerie and quickly became known for its outstanding movements. In the 1940s, under Timothée Piaget, the company transformed itself from a pure component supplier to an independent manufacturer of luxury watches. Brand innovations such as the ultra-thin 9P caliber ultimately made Piaget watches world-famous and positioned the manufacturer as a pioneer of technically advanced timepieces. 

The use of colorful semi-precious stones in Piaget watches for women in the 1960s led to the Maison's distinctive style. The combination of high watchmaking artistry and joaillerie shaped the brand's reputation as a house of glamour and luxury. Famous personalities such as Jackie Kennedy, Salvador Dalí, and Andy Warhol are among the prominent wearers—some of whom even collaborated on creations. 

Today, Piaget continues to masterfully combine traditional watchmaking with bold jewelry design and is one of the few manufacturers that still produces all movement parts in its own factory.
