Born from a partnership that began in 2004 with Mercedes-AMG and deepened in 2013 with the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ Team, IWC Schaffhausen celebrates over two decades of engineering excellence with its range of Performance Chronographs. The Pilot’s Watch Performance Chronograph 41 AMG showcases a case, crown, and pushers crafted from lightweight, ultra-strong grade 5 titanium – a brand specialty since 1980, developed alongside aerospace experts. Offering exceptional strength with minimal weight, this motorsport-inspired timepiece is available with either a waterproof black rubber strap or a refined titanium bracelet, delivering style, durability, and pure performance on the wrist.
Pilot’s Watch Performance Chronograph 41 Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ Team
Engineered for precision and built for performance, this iteration continues IWC Schaffhausen’s partnership with the legendary racing team. Featuring a lightweight Ceratanium® case, a proprietary material that blends the strength of titanium with the scratch resistance of ceramic, this bold timepiece draws on the engineering principles of the team. Designed to meet the demands of engineers, mechanics, and strategists alike, the watch combines cutting-edge materials, expert craftsmanship, and a sleek matte black finish. Completed with a black rubber strap and Ceratanium® pin buckle, it’s a tribute to technical excellence on and off the track.
Pilot’s Watch Chronograph APXGP
In celebration of its role as sponsor and official team watch of the fictional “APXGP” team in the upcoming F1® The Movie, IWC Schaffhausen unveils striking new chronographs. The Pilot’s Watch Chronograph APXGP (Ref. IW378009) and Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 APXGP (Ref. IW388116) are crafted in stainless steel with bold black, gold, and white detailing. Both are powered by IWC-manufactured calibres – 69385 in the 41mm model and 79320 in the 43mm version – delivering precision timekeeping and chronograph performance. Design highlights include gold-plated hands with white Super-LumiNova®, tinted sapphire case backs with the APXGP logo, and durable black rubber straps with special laser engraving and IWC’s quick-change EasX-CHANGE® system.
