In our stone setting atelier, seasoned artisans and dedicated apprentices work in almost complete silence, save for the steady whir of the pneumatic engraver or the gentle tapping of a manual hammer. Get to know the tools of their trade.

Old School

So long as stones have been set, artisans have relied on traditional materials such as beeswax and setters shellac, which remain in use to this day, practically unchanged.

New School

Advances in modern technology have expanded the stone setter’s toolkit, quite literally carving the path for more intricate designs.
