VACHERON CONSTANTIN’S PATRIMONY COLLECTION REINTERPRETED FOR 2019
Inspired by the 1950s Vacheron Constantin watches, the brand’s Patrimony collection has always been legendary for its stylistic pureness, circular perfection and a quest for essentials. Reflecting a deliberately minimalist approach striking a beautiful balance between taut lines and curves, the Patrimony watches assert their personality through elegant, slender cases. Now, the brand has created additions to the line in an unprecedented majestic blue colour.
These beautifully nuanced interpretations of the Patrimony collection enshrine the full range of Vacheron Constantin talents. The three models range from manual-winding, self-winding and retrograde day-date, all embodying the timeless and understated style equated with the Patrimony collection. The line has never yet been graced with such azure – the midnight blue shade of the dials is highlighted by the sunburst finish, while the pin buckle securing the blue alligator strap allows for the Vacheron Constantin emblem to stand out immediately among connoisseurs.
On the manual-winding watch, the solid caseback may be personalised at will to make this watch the companion of precious and elegant moments. Meanwhile, the self-winding model proclaims its refinement through its transparent caseback revealing the 196 components of Calibre 2450 Q6, including a 22K gold oscillating weight. Beating at the rate of 28,800 vibrations/hour, this calibre enjoys a full 40 hours of operating autonomy. Lastly, the Patrimony retrograde day-date watch is as original as it is technically complicated, with the undeniably complex self-winding Calibre 2460 R31R7/2 visible through the transparent sapphire crystal case-back. At 42.5mm in diameter and just 9.7mm thick, this horological wonder bears the imprint of the talented watchmakers within the Manufacture who have so skilfully preserved the pleasing proportions of the Patrimony collection.
