Rado: Captain Cook MKIII automatic
Rado has held its own for many years and it’s a brand that isn’t always on everyone’s radar. But, with dive watch enthusiasts, the brand has serious kudos. Rado had re-invigorated their best known dive watch, the Captain Cook with the Tradition Captain Cook MIII Automatic. The update introduces modern detailing like a XXXL-sized case and rugged black textile strap. It’s also got light grade 5 titanium construct resistant to scratches and a luminous dial for easy readability.
The watch is one-size fits all and has a convex rotating turning bezel that measure minute intervals. It also has a sapphire crystal glass box covering the dial and a day/date function. The movement has a power reserve of up to 80 hours and the MKIII is water resistant to 220 meters.
