MONTBLANC CAPTURES THE SPIRIT OF SOPHISTICATED ELEGANCE WITH ITS NEW HERITAGE COLLECTION
Taking inspiration from the Minerva classic wristwatches from the 1940s and 1950s, Montblanc’s new Heritage Collection marries the sophistication of watchmaking past with the modern design of the present. Its vintage aesthetics are translated into its domed dials with two finishings and dots as indexes, along with signature colours of the 1940-50’s such as salmon, smoked-caramel and silvery-white. Further tributes to the past are reflected in the new 3, 6 and 9 minute chronograph markers which recall the use of old-school payphones.
All the watches in Montblanc’s new Heritage Collection integrate a comprehensive range of movements inspired by high-end Minerva calibres from the past to a new perpetual calendar calibre, and a new rare mid-range monopusher chronograph. Available in 39 to 42mm, the fully polished cases feature curved horns with facets and are fitted with sapphire crystal glass boxes for an elegant historical look. The watches are then complete with Sfumato straps from the Montblanc Pelletteria, the Maison’s own leather workshop based in Florence.
Montblanc’s new Heritage Collection embodies the Spirit of Sophisticated Elegance, combining a modern style with an attention to detail. This new language of refinement and ‘sartorial’ knowledge has gained popularity with a new crowd of contemporary men who appreciate playing with their own personal look. Setting the trend in masculine design, the Spirit of Sophisticated Elegance perfectly captures the essence of the new Montblanc Heritage Collection.
