With an Oris Divers Sixty-Five chronograph, you will look stylish at all times, both under water and on land. The special features of this model, which Oris created exclusively for the Bucherer BLUE collection, will delight a new customer group of individualists and watch enthusiasts looking for something out of the ordinary.

For Oris, the cooperation in the context of Bucherer BLUE is a completely natural partnership, firstly because Bucherer and Oris are independent, traditional companies with shared values such as the pursuit of innovation and integrity. Furthermore, Oris has been campaigning for ocean conservation together with leading organisations for many years and therefore associates the colour blue primarily with water, the source of all life. “We were also excited about the elegant versatility of the colour blue, which lends a very stylish touch to our iconic diver’s watch,” says Rolf Studer, Co-CEO of Oris, before continuing: “Bucherer is a key partner for us and we have a number of things in common as companies. We both chart our own course, follow our own philosophies consistently and above all focus on our customers’ wishes.” Patrick Graf, Chief Commercial Officer at Bucherer, adds: “A sporty, dynamic chronograph has been created in close collaboration for the Bucherer BLUE collection. It combines vintage charm with Oris’s outstanding watchmaking expertise and more than 50 years of experience with diver’s watches.”

Diving with class

The robust, masculine timepiece combines the retro look of the original diver’s watch from the 1960s with the modern watch technology of the 21st century in a suitably skilful way. To do this, Oris dived into the depths of the company’s history and – with this reinterpretation of the now legendary Divers Sixty-Five chronograph – is presenting the first version of the timepiece made completely of stainless steel and featuring an anti-corrosive stainless-steel case.

The vintage-inspired bubble-curved surface of the model is made of scratch-resistant sapphire glass that comes with anti-reflective coating on the inside to reduce glare and increase legibility under water. Further unique features of the special edition are the titanium-filled hands and the symmetrical, bicompax arrangement of the indexes. Thanks to the “light old radium” Super LumiNova® inlays, the display stands out distinctively from the deep-blue dial and is easy to read even in the dark.

Produced exclusively for Bucherer, this dial combined with the aluminium bezel in elegant deep blue lend the timepiece an unmistakeable appearance.
The 43-mm case is beautifully designed and perfectly proportioned, giving the watch a contemporary feel and subtly transporting the retro design into the present day. A glance at the reverse of the Oris Divers Sixty-Five chronograph reveals further unique details: the case back is adorned with individual engravings inspired by the Bucherer BLUE partnership.

Oris maintains its deliberately playful use of the colour blue right down to the finest details. The brown vintage leather strap features blue stitching for the first time, for example. As a result, it harmonises perfectly with the dark blue stainless-steel elements of the bezel and stylishly rounds off the overall impression created by this special-edition watch.

About the Bucherer BLUE

The Bucherer BLUE watch collection comprises 36 exclusive timepieces that Bucherer created in cooperation with 20 renowned watch manufacturers. For 130 years, Bucherer has offered its customers a large selection of outstanding timepieces from first-class watchmakers. Its unique relations with the most distinguished brands in the industry are the fruit of many years of continuous collaboration, rooted in know-how, mutual respect and exceptional technical expertise. These rare partnerships produced the 36 men’s and ladies’ watches from the exclusive Bucherer BLUE collection, which Bucherer developed jointly with the watchmakers Audemars Piguet, Baume & Mercier, Blancpain, Breguet, Carl F. Bucherer, Chopard, H. Moser & Cie., Hublot, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Longines, Oris, Panerai, Piaget, Rado, Roger Dubuis, TAG Heuer, Tissot, Tudor and Vacheron Constantin. The central theme of the collection is the colour blue. For countless artists over the centuries, blue has been a source of inspiration, reminding us of the sky and sea. It has also been a symbol of Bucherer since the beginning, and hence an identifying feature of the Bucherer brand.
