A new kind of timekeeping

Longines’ game-changing tracking system for horse racing

Longines is revolutionising timekeeping in equestrian sports

“In the world of racing, precise timekeeping down to fractions of a second is not a luxury, but a necessity.”

Longines’ passion for equestrian sports dates all the way back to 1869. In 1878, Longines produced a chronograph engraved with a jockey and his racehorse. Three years later, Longines introduced this kind of timekeeping to American racetracks.

After the launch of the Longines Positioning System in 2015, the brand returned in 2018 with a new tracking system and revolutionized the equestrian calendar once again.

This watch collection is smashing all records

True to the Longines tradition, the automatic watches in the Record collection embody the spirit of classic elegance.

This exceptional product line features an enchanting combination of watchmaking expertise and elegant details. It is a level of perfection that is hard to resist: thanks to their outstanding precision, all models in the Record collection boast a COSC certificate from the official Swiss chronometer testing institute, Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres.

A sparkling eye-catcher

The Longines Record collection

Beautifully designed and feminine

Beautifully designed and feminine are the terms that best define this elegant ladies’ watch. The COSC-certified model combines the technical finesse of the Longines Record collection with a truly timeless design and a diamond-encrusted bezel to create a visually and mechanically breathtaking timepiece.

Its inner beauty also deserves special recognition. Beneath the elegant surface lies something exceptional: the balance spring, the regulating mechanism of an automatic watch. Together with the balance wheel, to which it is attached, the balance spring oscillates with an extremely regular beat, controlling the accuracy of the watch.
