Traditional watch and jewellery retailer Bucherer has occupied prime-location premises on the Bahnhofstrasse in the world-famous ski resort and spa since 1985. Following a thorough renovation lasting some three months, the store is now preparing a glittering reopening for the winter season. The interior assumes the character and relates the history of the mountain village. Natural materials, such as wood from old chalets and white Ticino marble, endow the boutique with a warm but elegant atmosphere, while historical artefacts from Zermatt decorate the walls and provide an intriguing insight into the holiday resort's past. Outstanding features of the new boutique are a spacious display area for watches and jewellery as well as two comfortable lounges that invite customers to discover the collections and offer a pleasant, relaxed shopping experience.
Whether watches or jewellery, Bucherer stands for top quality and first-class service and prides itself on offering customers individual advice in several languages. For generations now, the company has cultivated its passion for hand-crafted jewellery in its own workshops in Lucerne. The Bucherer Fine Jewellery collection ranges from Haute Joaillerie to modern pieces for everyday wear and satisfies every possible need. Bucherer also offers this wide choice to guests visiting the store in Zermatt and is proud to present the town's most comprehensive selection of jewellery. On the second floor of the new alpine chic store, the focus is on a wide-ranging collection of luxury watch brands. Taking its place alongside 11 renowned Swiss watch manufacturers is the Rolex brand, whose boutique has close links with the Bucherer store.
