IWC Schaffhausen

The classic IWC Big Pilot’s Watch

Revamping old icons and presenting new models: IWC’s anniversary collection unites these two aims through timeless design, resulting in a unique, truly exceptional watch collection.

Part of this collection is a new interpretation of an IWC classic – the IWC Big Pilot’s Watch. The Big Pilot’s Watch Annual Calendar Edition “150 Years” is the only watch in the anniversary collection to be fitted with a practical annual-calendar complication.

In its anniversary year, IWC is honouring the pioneering achievements of the past with the IWC Tribute to Pallweber Edition “150 Years”.

The IWC Tribute to Pallweber Edition “150 Years” is the first-ever IWC wristwatch with a jumping-numeral module. Just like the historical Pallweber pocket watches, it displays the hours and minutes on rotating discs.

H. Moser & Cie. has maintained its reputation for simple, minimalist elegance with its new collections: the Venturer Concept Blue Lagoon edition, for example, which is limited to only 20 watches, is reminiscent of an enchanting blue lagoon. Edouard Meylan, CEO of H. Moser & Cie., revealed in his interview with us which new creations will be launched at this year’s SIHH.

Baume & Mercier

The Clifton Club Indian Burt Munro Tribute, a limited-edition watch from Baume & Mercier

The watch manufacturer Baume & Mercier presented two highlights at the SIHH 2018. The first was a result of the partnership with Indian Motorcycle: the Clifton Club Indian Burt Munro Tribute. The special design features of this chronograph with an automatic movement are a reference to the extraordinary achievements of motorcycle racer Burt Munro. Find out more about this unique cooperation in our interview with Baume & Mercier’s CEO, Alain Zimmermann.

The Baume & Mercier Clifton Baumatic

The second piece of innovation from Baume & Mercier can be found in the Clifton Baumatic calibre: a markedly sophisticated men’s wristwatch with an in-house mechanical automatic movement and a transparent sapphire-glass back. CEO Alain Zimmermann is familiar with all the details of this timepiece, too.
